Andrew Clarke and his son William farm some 300 acres of typical Wealden farmland in the parish of Hawkhurst. It has always been our ethos to farm as much as possible in a way that supports and enhances our surrounding countryside whilst producing fully traceable, quality beef and lamb.
The emphasis is firmly on traditional methods to provide grazing and winter feed for the livestock as well as supporting areas of wild flower meadows, natural habitat, woodland and ponds.
The farm participates in the Higher Level Stewardship Scheme; an ongoing conservation and education programme. We offer school visits and open days so that people can see first hand our farming practices and livestock. It also offers an opportunity to simply enjoy some of the most glorious countryside here in the Weald of Kent.
Park Farm is a low intensity pasture farm rearing cattle and sheep for a discerning butchery outlet in the village of Hawkhurst.
Attention to detail and quality is at the centre of our ethos to produce and sell the very best. We rear Sussex cattle and Romney sheep that are indigenous to the area on traditional pastures. Our methods are environmentally-sensitive, with low food miles, whilst working in harmony with the countryside.
The aim is to create the best flavours from the diverse grasses available to us whilst rearing stock that thrives within the environment that it lives.
